Wide Black Walnut Board with Nice Figure!

I've been saving this piece for a long time!  Walnut is hard to get in wide widths, and to find one with some figure in it makes it worth more.  The board is exactly 10 3/8" wide x 9' 4" long x 1 1/8+".  This translates to 8 board feet of kiln dried lumber.  There is a large knot about 1/3rd the way in from the end, and it's here that you find the nice figure.  You can see day light through the crack in the knot, so you would have to work around that.  Although in its rough state the figure is hard to discern, when you plane it down I'm positive you will be pleased.

Price = $60.00

Aromatic Cedar

This stock has been glued up into wider pieces and wide belt sanded to 3/4".  We used it to make bureaus and drawers in a cedar closet, the bugs just don't like it, and it smells great!

3/4" x 19 3/4" x 49" (3 pcs. glued up)
3/4" x 24" x 48 1/2" (4 pcs. glued up)
3/4" x 9 5/8" x 48" (2 pcs. glued up)
3/4" x 14 1/4" x 48 (3 pcs. glued up)

Total Board Feet = 22.75,

Price = $180.00

Douglas Fir

1 @ 5/4 x 5" x 10' (Milled to 1 3/16" thick)
1 @ 5/4 x 5 1/8" x 6'10" (Milled to 1 3/16" thick)
1 @ 5/4 x 3 7/16" x 7'0" (Milled to 1 3/16" thick)
(see photo below, two stacks on left side of pile)

This is a little over 11 board feet of fir.  This would normally sell for around $18, you can have it for $10.00

Please note:  The photos were taken before I snipped about 2 feet off the end of the 3 7/16 wide board.

I have lots more, just have not had the time to list it.  Off the top of my head, I have:

  • A pile of 1/8" sawn Zebrawood veneer - very unique
  • Various pieces of beveled glass, and insulated glass
  • Lots of plywood, some full sheets, a few half sheets, some smaller.  Walnut, Red Oak, Ash, Wacky wood, etc.  Click to view listings some of which are priced
  • Rustic farm equipment, like an old rusty tractor seat.
